PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a chemical strengthened glass having higher strength in which the reduction in the strength of a glass is effectively suppressed even if chemical strengthening is performed.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing a chemical strengthened glass including a process where a potassium nitrate-containing inorganic salt is contacted with a sodium-containing glass, thus Na in the glass and K in the inorganic salt are ion-exchanged. The inorganic salt includes at least one kind of salt selected from a group consisting of KCO, NaCO,KHCO, NaHCO, KOH and NaOH, and, after the ion exchange step, the first cleaning step of cleaning a glass, a step of acid-cleaning the glass after the first cleaning step; the second cleaning step of cleaning the glass after the step of acid treatment; a step of alkali-treating the glass after the second cleaning step; and the third cleaning step of cleaning the glass after the step of the alkali treatment, and the cleaning temperature in at least either the secondary cleaning step and the third cleaning step is controlled to 40°C or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
