At this time, by determining whether or not a proportional of the F/B control amount is not smaller than a proportional guard value, it is predicted whether or not the discharge amount of the high-pressure pump 14 exceeds a discharge amount of a low-pressure pump 12. When it is predicted that the discharge amount of the high-pressure pump 14 exceeds the discharge amount of the low-pressure pump 12, the F/B control amount is limited by limiting the proportional of the F/B control amount by the proportional guard value, and discharge-amount limit control for limiting the discharge amount of the high-pressure pump 14 so as not to exceed a prescribed value (for example, the discharge amount of the low-pressure pump 12) is performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
