摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a correlative double sampling circuit etc., which obtains an excellent imaging signal even when a video format is switched. SOLUTION: Correlative double sampling is used to perform noise removal from the imaging signal Sa. A plurality of sample hold sections 210-a to 210-d having frequency characteristics corresponding to video formats are provided. A timing signal TMf (TMs) is supplied to a sample hold section corresponding to a selected format to sample and hold signal levels in a feedthrough period and a signal period. When the imaging signal Sa is generated by switching the driving frequency of an imaging element according to the video format, the sample hold section having suitable frequency characteristics is used to perform sample hold operation, so even when the video format is switched, the noise removal is performed while the S/N and the degree of modulation are kept excellent.
