METHOD FOR UNATTENDED RECEPTION OF CARGO

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for unattended reception of cargo that makes it possible to make settlements on site at any time without requiring human intervention.

SOLUTION: Personal authentication of a sender is performed according to the number of a cellphone 50. The size and weight of the cargo 70 that the sender has brought in are automatically measured to calculate the shipping cost. A settlement operation is thus made possible using the sender's card or the cellphone 50 having an IC card function built in. In this way, settlements can be made on site at any time without human intervention, resulting in increased convenience for users, improved business efficiency of carriers and improved cargo assembling services.
