<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game apparatus, and a control method and program of a computer capable of acquiring game data without restricting the number of apparatus occupied by a user. <P>SOLUTION: When another apparatus identification data receiving part 40 receives a MAC (Media Access Control) address notified by an access point 100, an own apparatus identification data acquisition part 44 acquires the MAC address of a portable game machine 10. Then, the game data acquisition part 42 generates a combined ID based on two MAC addresses. The game data acquisition part specifies game data 50 associated with conditions which the combined ID is satisfied out of a plurality pieces of game data 50 stored in a game data storage part 46 and acquires the game data 50.
