<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packet transmission device capable of eliminating occurrence of a missed packet information while avoiding degradation in transmission rate as much as possible, in order to improve a packet transmission quality. <P>SOLUTION: A frequency deviation correction calculator 11 calculates an effective packet transmission time duration and the number of effective packets in the effective packet transmission time duration. The effective packet transmission time duration is a period when an effective packet is contained having no missed packet information due to frequency deviation of a clock between transmitting/receiving devices. A packet transmitter 12 performs priority control to determine a packet to be transmitted is a priority packet or a non-priority packet and give priority to the priority packet over the non-priority packet for transmission. As for a packet other than the effective packet contained in the effective packet transmission time duration, a packet gap for a transmission suspended period, is inserted in packet transmission processing at the time of correction of frequency deviation when packet transmission is suspended, in order not to make a packet information missing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
