PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-pressure gas storage vessel that while requested to have gas-resistant airtightness and pressure tightness, is lightweight and secures stable pressure tightness, and a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a high-pressure gas storage vessel 1 configured such that: a dome part 22 is formed at both ends of a cylindrically sectioned trunk part 21; a base part 4 is fixed to at least one end of the dome part; a reinforcement part 23 is provided on an inner peripheral surface of a liner 2; and a rubber- or resin-made protection layer 5 is provided integrally on an outer peripheral surface of a fiber-reinforced plastic layer 3. After the base part 4 is set on an elevation table, the liner 2 is united with a layer below it by fusing and bonding one layer of a powdery molding material by irradiation with a light beam, and this laminating process is repeated so as to form the liner and the reinforcement part 23 in one body at the same time. Fiber-reinforced plastic is wound around an outer peripheral surface of the liner, the wound fiber-reinforced plastic layer 4 is cured, and a color for identifying the kind of a gas to be stored is given to the outer peripheral surface of the fiber-reinforced plastic layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
