PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front passenger seat airbag device which allows an airbag to smoothly receive an occupant seated at a normal seating position and which suppresses the airbag pressing an adjacent occupant close to an instrument panel.SOLUTION: In a front passenger seat airbag device, an airbag 15 includes an occupant side wall part 29 and a peripheral wall part 18 and it is constituted by disposing a gas inflow port 24 in a front end vicinity at expansion completion time, and at a portion of a lower wall part 20 of the peripheral wall part 18, a lower pocket part 34 continued from the lower wall part 20 and recessed upward is disposed. In the airbag 15, a tether 38 which is arranged substantially along the front/back direction by connecting the occupant side wall part 29 and neighborhood of the gas inflow port 24 is disposed inside. The lower pocket part 34 is formed in a bag-like shape by mutually connecting outer peripheral edges of left and right lower pocket constitution part 55R extending from the lower wall part 20, and an upper end 34b side of the bag shape is connected to the tether 38.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
