IMAGE BOARD AND DISPLAY METHOD USING DUAL CODEC

A video processing board using a dual-codec, and a method for displaying an image of high picture quality by using the same are provided to reduce costs for increasing a network bandwidth by easily obtaining an image of high picture quality when it is necessary. High picture quality processing units(120,140) process an input image into an image of high resolution. Low picture quality processing units(110,130) process an input image into an image of low resolution. Upon receiving images from a plurality of video generating devices, the high picture quality processing units generate an image of high picture quality, and the low picture quality processing units generate an image of low picture quality. If a request for simultaneous transmission of several screen images as divided screen images is received, the image of low picture quality of the low picture quality processing units is transmitted to reduce calculation and a network transmission amount. If a request for transmission of one of several screen images is received, the image of high picture quality of the high picture quality image processing units with respect to the corresponding screen image is transmitted to reduce calculation, use a network bandwidth effectively and maintain picture quality.
