摘要 A vehicle (100) starts charging a storage device (4) at a predetermined time. An electric power control unit (2) continues monitoring a charging/discharging device (30) from the time when the start of the charging/discharging device (30) at the charging start time is set until the time when the charging is started. If detecting malfunction of the charging/discharging device (30), the electric power control unit (2) sends a signal (S6) for canceling the setting of the charging start time to a timer control unit (3). When receiving the signal (S6), the timer control unit (3) cancels the setting of the charging start time. Specifically, the timer control unit (3) does not send a signal (S3) for canceling the setting of the charging start time, namely, a start command, to the electric power control unit (2) even when the present time reaches the charging start time. Since the electric power control unit (2) does not start the operation of the charging/discharging device (30) as long as it doesn't receive the signal (S3), the charging/discharging device (30) is at a standstill.
