Ž<P>SOLUTION: A plurality of plant stems are arranged in parallel with one another to form a sheet-like material, and a plurality of sheet-like materials are laminated through a first adhesive so that the plant stems forming the sheet-like materials intersect each other, to form a first laminate. The first laminate is subjected to thermocompression molding to form a first laminated molding 31, and the first laminated molding 31 is sliced perpendicularly to the laminated face and in parallel with or orthogonally to the plant stems which are components, to obtain a plurality of sliced pieces 18. A second adhesive is applied to both faces of a planar base material 19, and the plurality of sliced pieces 18 are arranged on both faces of the base material 19 with the second adhesive applied thereto so that the sliced faces are adhesive faces. A first layer 41 is thereby formed to obtain a second laminate 22. The second laminate 22 is subjected to cold compression molding or thermocompression molding to form a laminated material 10 formed of a second laminated molding of plate shape.
