PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid formulation containing ≥5 w/v% minoxidil based on the liquid formulation and carpronium chloride or its hydrate and having improved preservation stability. SOLUTION: The liquid formulation comprises (a) ≥5 w/v% minoxidil based on the liquid formulation, (b) carpronium chloride or its hydrate, (c) dibutylhydroxytoluene and (d) phosphoric acid or its salt.
