PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a "mounting angle correction device and method for in-vehicle camera" for improving the position accuracy of lane mark detection by improving the correction accuracy of a mounting angle parameter.SOLUTION: The correction value of the mounting angle parameter of an in-vehicle camera 200 is calculated in each predetermined time such that a set of lane marks detected from a photographic image is made in parallel, and as long as the variance of the correction values for N times is not more than a predetermined value, the correction of the mounting angle parameter is performed. Thus, even when the correction value of the mounting angle parameter is temporarily calculated in an irregular case, the correction of the mounting angle parameter is not executed. Thus, it is possible to prevent such inconvenience that since the mounting angle parameter which should not be originally corrected is corrected, an error is increased. |
