摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an electrical contact material including silver-coated carbon nanotubes.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing an electrical contact material including silver-coated carbon nanotubes includes the steps of: (a) placing carbon nanotubes in a silver nitrate solution to subject them to ultrasonic dispersion and acid treatment; (b) washing the carbon nanotubes; (c) mixing the washed carbon nanotubes with a mixed solution of tin chloride and hydrochloric acid and a mixed solution of palladium chloride and hydrochloric acid and applying ultrasonic waves thereto to bind tin and palladium to the surface of the carbon nanotubes; (d) mixing the silver nitrate solution and an ammonia aqueous solution until colorless and mixing the carbon nanotubes therewith; (e) mixing an aqueous solution of glyoxylic acid and an aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide with the mixed solution and washing with deionized water to produce silver-coated carbon nanotubes; and (f) mixing the silver-coated carbon nanotubes with an alloy in which metals are mixed to produce a powder mixture.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
