<p>The method involves producing binary edge image from a gray value image such that edge traction area is determined as an edge available at the gray value image. A sharpness algorithm is used in the gray value image inside of areas, which correspond to the edge traction area. A smoothing method is performed at the gray value image inside of areas, which lie outside of the edge traction area, so that a smoothened and sharpened image is produced. An independent claim is also included for an image recording device comprising a computer system.</p> |
