<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of aligning imaged images with high accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: Motion detection circuits 62<SB>1</SB>to 62<SB>N-1</SB>use one of a plurality of images consecutively imaged by a CMOS sensor or the like wherein an exposure timing of one pixel differs from that of another pixel, as a reference image, and detect corresponding points between the reference image and the other images, and an arithmetic circuit 63 obtains a nonlinear function for representing the positional relationship between the reference image and the other images on the basis of the corresponding points.
