A cooling device for a polyester filament is provided to manufacture the yarn having the outstanding quality by suppressing the trembling of the yarn through minimizing the airstream interference, and to obtain the excellent dyeing property. A cleaning plate is installed in a cooling zone of the polyester filament spinning cooling device for cooling down a polymer discharged from a spinneret(1). The center part of the cleaning plate is designed to be concavely curved by comparing to both end parts of the cleaning plate. The length of the cleaning plate is formed to be adjustable according to the number of holes of the spinneret and the fineness of a single filament. The length of the cleaning plate is made to be a slide type for enabling to replace the cooling width plate easily and simply, and is adjusted freely. The width of both end parts of the cleaning plate is installed to have 20-30 millimeters distance to the polymer discharged from the spinneret, and to have 35-45 millimeters distance to the center part of the cleaning plate. |
