A polymerase chain reaction(PCR) primer is provided to detect Clostridium perfringens, one pathogenic microorganism of food poisoning, using various techniques such as a real time polymerase chain reaction(PCR) rapidly and accurately without a culturing step of the Clostridium perfringens. A primer for detecting Clostridium perfringens comprises at least one primer pair selected from the group consisting of a primer pair consisting of a primer of SEQ ID : NO. 13 and a primer of SEQ ID : NO. 14, a primer pair consisting of the primer of SEQ ID : NO. 13 and a primer of SEQ ID : NO. 35, a primer pair consisting of the primer of SEQ ID : NO. 13 and a primer of SEQ ID : NO. 36, and a primer pair consisting of the primer of SEQ ID : NO. 13 and a primer of SEQ ID : NO. 37. A kit for detecting the Clostridium perfringens comprises the primer for detecting the Clostridium perfringens, a reaction buffer solution, dNTP and Taq DNA polymerase. Further, the polymerase chain reaction is multiplex polymerase chain reaction.
