PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video audio reproducing system capable of obtaining and setting an exact delay time of a synchronized audio signal to a video signal so that videos to be reproduced can be synchronized with audios. SOLUTION: In the video audio reproducing system, an AV center has a control circuit, and a delay synchronizing circuit for delaying an audio signal to execute synchronization processing between the video signal and the audio signal. The delay synchronization circuit includes an audio delay circuit for delaying the audio signal; a video detecting circuit to be connected to a light receiver; and a test signal output circuit for reproducing a test video signal alternately including white and black video signals. The control circuit calculates a delay time of a test video image reproduced from a monitor corresponding to the test video signal detected by the video detecting circuit, and sets it at a delay time of the audio delay circuit of the delay synchronization circuit.
