<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headlamp for vehicle realizing small-sizing of a lamp unit by arranging two movable shades compactly, and capable of improving accuracy of the cut-off line by enhancing positioning accuracy between the two movable shades. <P>SOLUTION: The headlamp for vehicle 10 is provided with a projection lens 11, a light source 23a, a reflector 25, and a shade mechanism 29 in a lamp chamber. The shade mechanism 29 is provided with a first movable shade 33 which moves between a shield position to form a cut-off line and a shield relaxation position and a second movable shade 37 which moves between an additional shield position which increases shielding volume more than the light distribution pattern which the first movable shade 33 forms at the shield position and a retreating position. The first movable shade 33 is installed rotatably at the surrounding of a first rotating axle 31 extending in a vehicle width direction and the second movable shade 37 rotatable around a second rotating axle 35 extending in the vehicle width direction is installed over the first movable shade 33. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
