OVERWRITE CONTROL SYSTEM, OVERWRITE PAGE STORAGE/DISPLAY METHOD, PROGRAM, AND RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a page image in the same display format after overwriting without storing the image data which has been changed by overwriting at every overwrite operation.

SOLUTION: An overwrite control unit 22 generates overwrite data represented by document coordinates to automatically store the data in an overwrite data file 30 when overwrite operations are performed. An overwrite page image storage control unit 24 acquires scroll box information showing an area of page images to be overwritten among the documents (or images) to store the information in an overwrite page image file 29 together with the overwritten page images. An overwrite list display control unit 25 reduces a plurality of overwritten page images to display a list of the overwritten pages that is a list of the plurality of reduced page images. An overwrite display control unit 23 extracts and displays un-overwritten page images selected from the list among the documents (or images) and also draws the stored overwrite data onto the un-overwritten page images.
