<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an organic electroluminescent light emitting display device which prevents the deterioration of image quality of TFT driving and the generation of smear, improves contrast, increases a light emission region, and is high in reliability. <P>SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescent light emitting display device includes a plurality of scanning signal lines GL which are arranged on a substrate, a plurality of data signal lines DL, a current supply line PL, a plurality of pixels emitting light according to display contents, each pixel being composed of a data holding element CSi-Cl holding data signals according to the voltages on the scanning signal lines, an organic electroluminescent light emitting element OCT emitting light according to the held data signal, and active elements (SW1, SW2, SW3, DT) which controls to write the data signal into the data holding element or to supply current to the organic EL light emitting element, and light shielding members (GLS, C1(AL), C2) disposed on such positions to shield light from the organic EL lighting element of the each pixel to the active element of the each pixel or the adjacent pixel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
