PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pulse multiplexing unit in which a pulse train with high coupling efficiency can be obtained and in which pulse intervals of the optical pulse train can be arbitrarily set. SOLUTION: The optical pulse multiplexing unit includes: a half mirror 1 that demultiplexes incident light to generate transmission light and reflection light; and mirror units MU-11 and the like that are arranged oppositely to each other on both sides of the half mirror 1, that deflect the transmission light and the reflection light demultiplexed by the half mirror 1, and that again multiplex at a common place on the half mirror 1. The mirror unit MU-11 and the like are provided with a plurality of mirrors M1-12 for example, and configured to make the optical path length variable by moving in one direction by a transfer mechanism.
