A method for providing start time information of a DMB program is provided to allow a user to receive start time information of a next DMB program in a different channel as well as a currently used channel while viewing a DMB program. When a broadcast center(300) receives the first DMB program from a DMB program providing server(200), it inserts start information regarding the first DMB program into a frame of the first DMB program(S210,S220). The broadcast center transmits the start information-inserted frame data to a broadcasting terminal(100)(S230). Upon receiving the start information of the first DMB program while viewing the second DMB program, the broadcasting terminal determines a position on a screen for displaying the start information(S240). The broadcasting terminal displays the start information on the determined position to allow a user to acquire information about when the DMB program starts(S250).
