A monitoring camera is provided to prevent the light interference of a camera unit by inducing the illumination light in a photographing direction with a light guide unit. A photographing unit(120) is installed at a base(111) of a camera body(110), being rotative and photographs a monitoring target region. An illumination unit(130) irradiates the light in the photographing direction of a photographing unit, and a cover member(140) covers the photographing unit and the illumination unit. A light guide unit(150) which is installed at the photographing unit induces the illumination light scatter-reflected from the cover member not to invade the photographing unit.
