A vehicle steering system is provided to fix the steering wheel unit at different positions via the fixing grooves formed on the fixed rail, thus positioning the steering wheel optimally. A vehicle steering system comprises more than one guide bar installed on a vehicle body, a steering wheel unit installed on the guide bar to movable along the guide bar, a steering shaft(50) which is connected to wheels in order to deliver the power, a turning force delivery unit(70) combined in the steering shaft by the medium of a sliding key(87), and a drive unit moving the steering wheel unit along the guide bar. The steering shaft includes a sliding groove(51) formed in the longitudinal direction.
