<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize rush-in timing of a sheet into a fixing means, regardless of the size of the sheet, and to suppress image rubbing and unevenness in glossiness without disturbing an unfixed toner image. Ž<P>SOLUTION: When the sheet of the size which does not abut on a second regulating rib 500B is conveyed to a guide 54, a first regulating rib 500A presses a side end part of the sheet on the guide 54. When the sheet of the size which abuts on the second regulating rib 500B is conveyed to the guide 54, the second regulating rib 500B presses the side end part of the sheet on the guide 54, while saving from a position projected by the conveyed sheet.
