A turbulence suppression member (8) having openings (9, 10) is disposed between a measurement flow path (4) and a pair of holes (11, 12) where a pair of ultrasound transceivers (6, 7) are disposed opposite the measurement flow path (4). Each of the pair of openings (9, 10) of the turbulence suppression member (8) has a crosspiece, and the widths of the crosspieces are substantially the same. Thus turbulence resulting from vortices in the pair of holes (11, 12), which is a cause of measurement error, is suppressed in a state of low attenuation of ultrasonic waves, thereby guaranteeing measurement accuracy.
