The present invention relates to a novel strain having an odor removal effect, and a method for removing odor from livestock excrement using the same. The strain according to the present invention has an excellent capacity to remove or reduce odor generated from livestock excrement, and thus can be effectively used for improving a stable in which livestock excrement is produced, or for preparing an odorless compost from livestock excrement. In addition, the odor removal method according to the present invention allows existing facilities to continue to be used, and thus can reduce additional expense burden and can also be universally used regardless of the type or scale of livestock.
