PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet light irradiation device capable of efficiently irradiating a fluid with ultraviolet light.SOLUTION: Provided is an ultraviolet irradiation device 30 irradiating a fluid with ultraviolet light 12, including a deep ultraviolet light emitting element 31, an ultraviolet light filter 32 and a cyclone structure 33. The deep ultraviolet light emitting element 31 is an element emitting deep ultraviolet light toward the upper part, and has a light emitting layer 4 of receiving the excited light generated in a discharge space 10 and emitting the ultraviolet light. The ultraviolet filter 32 absorbs or reflects 80% or more of the light with a wavelength of 200 nm or lower. The cyclone structure 33 includes a cylindrical structure 14 of revolving the fluid made to flow-in from the outside and a conical structure 13 introducing the fluid rotated in the cylindrical structure 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
