PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic radial tire for a heavy load that can prevent the occurrence of separation between a rubber chafer and a wire chafer in a bead heel part, even if an interference of a bead part is sufficiently secured for suppressing rim slip.SOLUTION: A tire 10 includes a carcass 14, and a wire chafer 22 in an outer circumferential side of the carcass 14. A reinforcing rubber layer 24 with an elastic modulus smaller than at least one of the coating rubber constituting the carcass 14 and the coating rubber constituting the wire chafer 22 is disposed between these 2-members. An arrangement area of the reinforcing rubber layer 24 is an area where a rotation angle θ around the center 12c of a bead-core 12 to the outside of the tire width direction becomes at least a portion of the range of -45° to 90° on the basis of a straight line extended inside the tire radial direction perpendicular to the tire width direction from the center 12c of the bead-core 12 and intersecting with the wire chafer 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
