PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method for manufacturing an electric connector of which the processing time is short, in which Cu foils of an FPC board 14 are not exfoliated, and which does not require examinations of a micro strip line in which transmission line characteristics have been taken into consideration. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method can be accomplished by electrically insulating and isolating electric contacts 46 by cutting connection parts 16 in which electrical connection between the electric contacts 46 has been made when electrolyte surface treatment is carried out after the surface treatment in the electric connector 30 having the prescribed number of the electric contacts 46 coming into contact with counterpart objects.
