PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL element having excellent luminescent characteristics for a long period of time, by forming a moisture absorption film capable of adsorbing not only moisture but also oxygen to stably prevent moisture and oxygen from infiltrating into an organic EL laminated structural body by using the moisture absorption film. SOLUTION: This moisture absorption film is formed by mixing a material having a getter action with a material having alkaline earth metal oxide as a main component to have a molar ratio of 0.04-0.4.
