<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus accomplishing at least one of two purposes, that is, a first purpose that is to facilitate takeout of an ejected medium to be recorded and a second purpose that is to easily perform jam processing. <P>SOLUTION: Each of four image forming units 20 is arranged at a position more separated from a front surface 5a if positioned at a more upper position, and a conveying belt 15 is arranged to come in contact with each of photoreceptor drums 16 in front of the four image forming units 20 and supported on the inner surface of a front cover 35. After recording paper 3 passes between a heating roller 28 and a pressure roller 29, its conveying direction is turned forward from an upper and obliquely rear direction by paper ejection rollers 31 and 32, and then the recording paper 3 is ejected forward from a paper ejection port 33. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
