摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing columnar fine nanoparticles for magnetic recording, which have a high aspect ratio. <P>SOLUTION: Almost spherical metal nanoparticles 1 subjected to chemical synthesis are dispersed into a solvent, so as to prepare a nanoparticle-dispersed solution 10, and the solution 10 is applied to the surface of a substrate 2 in which longitudinal nanoholes 3 are formed on the surface, defoaming is performed, and the nanoparticle-dispersed solution 10 is poured into the nanoholes 3. Thereafter, heat treatment is performed at a temperature equal to or lower than the melting point, and columnar nanoparticles 4 grown so as to be long and narrow by the solid phase reaction of the metal nanoparticle 1 are formed at the inside of the nanoholes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
