<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reference image forming device capable of forming a reference image enabling stable inspection even to a change in hue in a double cylinder offset printing machine, and to provide a reference image forming method. <P>SOLUTION: The reference image forming device is constituted so as to take in inspection images of continuous three or more of odd numbers, calculate the median value of concentration values of the respective images to the captured-in inspection images of continuous three or more of odd numbers, form images making the calculated median value as the concentration value, capture inspection images of three or more of odd numbers following the inspection images, calculate the median value of the concentration values of the respective images to the captured in inspection images of the three or more of odd numbers, form images making the calculated median value as the concentration value, calculate the average value of the concentration numbers of the formed both images, and form the reference image making the calculated average value and the concentration value, when forming the reference image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
