The method involves computing target process of individual process variables based on algorithms of an iterative adaptive control for transmission on a lower layer. A standard procurement system (SPS) is utilized in the lower layer for implementing the regulation of the individual process variables. The communication among sensors, an optimizing computer and the SPS is performed over a radio network and malfunctioning of the communication network is detected by a watch dog to initiate the regulation of the SPS with the relevant target processes provided by the optimizing computer.
