<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stationary precedent handrail for a construction scaffold, simple in configuration and easy in assembling operation, while being used as a stationary handrail. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The stationary precedent handrails 11 for the construction scaffold are assembled among supports constituting the construction scaffold and used for preventing a falling. The stationary precedent handrail 11 is composed of a frame body 22 formed into a square frame shape and muntins 23 and horizontal muntins 24 as cross-linking materials built in the frame body. Upper wedge members 25 and lower wedge members 26 connected to a connecting frame provided to the supports are mounted at the upper and lower places of both side sections forming the frame body 22, while hook members 27 being engaged with the connecting frame for the supports and rotatably supporting the frame body 22 are mounted on the intermediate sections of both side sections.
