<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combination for administration to tissue including the submucosa tissue of a polyp. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The combination includes: a composition which includes a biocompatible small molecule crosslinker having n crosslinker functional groups and 2,000 or lower molecular weight, wherein n is 2 or more and the crosslinker functional group is electrophilic or nucleophilic; and a synthetic biocompatible functional polymer having m functional polymer functional groups and molecular weight of at least about 7 times more than the crosslinker wherein m is 2 or more and the sum of n and m is 5 or more, an the functional polymer functional group is nucleophilic when the crosslinker functional group is electrophilic and the functional polymer functional group is electrophilic when the crosslinker functional group is nucleophilic.
