<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner capable of obtaining a large humidification amount by making sufficient air pass through a humidifying rotor. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A humidification passage 52 led from part of an air cleaning filter unit 30 to the humidifying rotor 40 and a non-humidification passage 51 led from the other part of the air cleaning filter unit 30 to a fan 20 without passing through the humidifying rotor 40 are partitioned by a partition plate 50. By the partition plate 50, an air flow bypassing the humidifying rotor 40 from the humidification passage 52 to the non-humidification passage 51 is prevented, so that almost all the air made to flow in the humidification passage 52 can be made to flow in the humidifying rotor 40.
