1. A method for implementing a file system migration as between a source file system and a destination file system, the method being implemented by one or more processors and comprising:
identifying a source namespace for the source file system, the source namespace identifying a set of file system objects of the source file system, and a file path for each of the file system objects; determining a destination namespace for the destination file system based at least in part on the source namespace, wherein at least a portion of the destination namespace includes an organization that is altered as compared to a corresponding portion of the source namespace; and performing the file system migration to implement the destination namespace for the destination file system. |
