PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video reproduction device and a video distribution device capable of simultaneously reproducing a main video and a thumb nail video in accordance with the processing capability of a reproduction terminal.SOLUTION: A video reproduction device for reproducing a thumb nail video of each of a plurality of videos and a selected video selected from among a plurality of thumb nail videos includes: reception means for requesting the distribution of the selected video and the thumb nail video to the video distribution device, and for receiving the encoded data of the thumb nail video distributed in response to the request and the encoded data of the selected video; decoding means for decoding the encoded data of the thumb nail video and the encoded data of the selected video; frame determination means for determining the frame to be reproduced of the thumb nail video on the basis of information necessary for the reproduction of the thumb nail video and the information of the processing capability of the video reproduction device; and reproduction means for synchronously reproducing the frame to be reproduced of the determined thumb nail video and the frame of the selected video. |
