PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conversion plug which gives no damage to a device itself when electrical wiring or the like is in contact with a conversion code.SOLUTION: A conversion plug 1 is used when connected to a second plug P2 in a shape different from a first plug P1 connectable to an existing optical connector 30. The conversion plug 1 includes the first plug P1 at one end of a conversion code 2 and an optical receptacle 40 having an end engaging part C in which the plug P2 is insertable at the other end of the conversion code 2. An optical fiber connected to a ferrule of the first plug P1 is connected to a ferrule fitted to a base end part side of the optical receptacle 40 through the conversion code 2, and the conversion code 2 is formed by a flexible material capable of being bent and held, which is non-conductive or weak conductive material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
