PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium metal battery.SOLUTION: A lithium metal battery including a positive electrode, a lithium negative electrode, and a liquid electrolyte interposed therebetween further includes a protective film arranged in at least a part of the lithium negative electrode, and containing one or more first high moleculars selected from polyvinyl alcohol and polyvinyl alcohol blend. Tensile modulus elasticity of the protective film is 10.0 MPa or more at 25°C, stretch ratio of the protective film is 50% or more at 25°C, and peel strength of the protective film is 5.0 MPa or more at 25°C.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
