PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode body possessed by an electrode complex which can function as a battery stably maintaining high output and high capacity over a long period of time when being applied to the battery, and also to provide an electrode body manufacturing method capable of manufacturing such an electrode body, the electrode complex having such an electrode body and the battery.SOLUTION: An electrode body 70 includes: a conductor 21 constituting a core material having a linear shape; and an active material layer 5 constituting a coating layer provided on the surface of this conductor 21. The conductor 21 includes metal or alloy represented by the general formula (CoNi) [wherein X represents a number of 0 or more and 1 or less]. The active material layer 5 contains a lithium complex oxide represented by the general formula Li(CoNi)O[wherein Y represents a number of 0 or more and 1 or less].SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
