PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curve section identification system capable of improving the accuracy in identifying curve section.SOLUTION: The curve section identification system includes: a feature point acquisition section that acquires a feature point which represents a feature point on a road; a line segment acquisition section that acquires a line segment which represents a direction of the road based on the feature point; and a curve section identification section that identifies end points of a curve section based on a crossing angle of the line segments, and when a distance between the feature points is larger than a threshold level depending on the radius of curvature of the curve section, identifies the end points of the curve section based on the feature point, and identifies the curve section based on both end points.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
