PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface light source illumination device capable of acquiring directional control required as a backlight use and a stable operation even with respect to vibration and a large temperature change in a use environment.SOLUTION: In a surface light source illumination device, linear light entered from a light source part (2a) is made incident at an end surface (1L) of a light guide plate (1) via a light incident part (3a) having a light incident lens (6) and a louver part (7), so that high reliability can be maintained even with respect to vibration and a temperature change in a use environment. Furthermore, in the light guide plate (1), the light reflected by a first light guide pattern (4A) provided on a back surface is reflected by a second light guide pattern (4B) also provided on the back surface, an emission direction is set, and the light is emitted with a targeted distribution characteristic from the front surface of the light guide plate (1).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
