PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current sensor that can improve detection responsiveness of an overcurrent when the overcurrent flows into a detected current path.SOLUTION: A sensor unit 10 is configured to output a detection signal serving as an analog signal corresponding to a magnetic flux generating from a measured current, and a signal processing unit 20 is configured to input the detection signal to convert the input detection signal into a digital signal; implement computation processing with respect to the detection signal; and convert the detection signal as the digital signal subjected to the computation processing into an analog signal. A determination circuit unit 30 is configured to input the detection signal from the sensor unit 10; and compare a signal value of the detection signal therefrom with an overcurrent threshold value for detection of an overcurrent to thereby determine presence or absence of the overcurrent. Thus, the overcurrent can be detected by the determination circuit unit 30 faster than a case where the presence or absence of the overcurrent is determined by a computation unit 23 configured as a digital circuit.
