PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To disclose various kinds of lighting devices constituted to operate light supplied by one or a plurality of light emitting elements [LEE].SOLUTION: Generally, an embodiment of a lighting device is characterized in that lighting from LEE is rearranged against a reflector, and then the reflector has one or a plurality of light couplers oriented for directing light within a certain angular range. In some embodiments, the lighting device has a second reflector for reflecting at least a part of the light from a first reflector. In some embodiments, the lighting device has a light guide for guiding light from a light collector to the first reflector. The constituting elements of the lighting device can be constituted to form a lighting device capable of producing various intensity distributions. Such lighting devices are constituted to supply light for a specified lighting application including office lightings, work lightings, cabinet lightings, garage lightings, wall wash, stuck lightings and down lightings.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2A |
