PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector capable of suppressing influences of dew condensation.SOLUTION: The projector includes a cooling device 4 cooling an electro-optic device 34 and a controlling device 9 controlling the cooling device 4. The cooling device 4 includes: a sealed chassis 51 in which the electro-optic device 34 is disposed inside and a first circulation flow passage of cooling air is formed inside; a circulation fan 52 disposed in the sealed chassis 51 and circulating the cooling air; a heat absorber 61 disposed on the first circulation flow passage in the sealed chassis 51 and absorbing heat of the cooling air; a dew condensation sensor 41 detecting a dew condensation state of the heat absorber 61; and a heat exchange device 8 disposed outside the sealing chassis 51 and radiating the heat absorbed by the heat absorber 61 to the outside of the sealed chassis 51. The control device 9 controls the condition of the heat exchange device 8 based on the detection result of a dew condensation state by the dew condensation sensor 41.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
